World Missions Outreach is an organization that my family started 30 years ago. WMOC is a 501c3 non-profit that is 100% volunteer base. No one takes a salary, ensuring that the entirety of every donation goes to its intended purpose!
Mission Statement
World Missions Outreach’s heart and soul mission is to change the face of humanity through equipping the now generation with the tools, education, nutrition, and resources to meet their spiritual and physical needs while becoming self-sustainable catalyst for all future generations.
World Missions Outreach focuses on providing a hand up, not just a handout; spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally. Our mission is to end the generational cycle of poverty through education and nutrition. We provide trade skill classes to equip students with the tools to bring food to the table and a career for their future while sharing the love of Jesus Christ.

World Missions Outreach is a small family started organization that is now doing huge things!
Co-Founder Larry Wright, passed away last October. Due to his very unexpected passing, World Missions Outreach was rocked emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
We are facing extreme adversities while trying to allocate the funding to keep World Missions Outreach's doors open. Over the past year, WMOC has struggled to keep up with the financial demands that it takes to operate the ministry. We have been faced with almost having to close our door's several times, but somehow God has always made a way to keep things operating!
However, here we are again (get behind me Satan). We are in a crisis state that will require us to shut down all operations until we can raise the money to continue. We can not imagine having to shut down World Missions Outreach. I personally, do not want to fail my grandfathers legacy of creating an organization that has changed so many lives. Nor, do I want to have to tell our students that we can't provide them the future they have been dreaming of.
What Caused the financial crisis?
This year Nicaragua was hit hard with major civil unrest. Due to the civil unrest and the danger surrounding it we have not been able to host any missions teams. Mission Teams are how we fund much of the ministry operations. With no mission teams, we literally have almost no funding coming in to continue. At a time that Nicaragua needs our help the most, we are facing not being able to help at all.
My family has sold our own personal belonging to cover the expenses during this year. We have sold our own cars, boat, properties, warehouse equipment, building supplies and tools, clothes, and much more to ensure that WMOC could stay open. Each month we have gone through everything we can find to sell so that this ministry can stay alive. We are at a point where there is not much left to give off our own backs to continue.
I am going to be very direct. Unless we are able to raise a minimum of 20K by December. World Missions Outreach will not be able to reopen our doors for 2019...
What World Missions Needs Right Now
WMOC needs 20K to cover all our operation cost, 3 schools teachers salaries, 60 church community outreach feeding programs, 4 containers of humanitarian supplies out of customs, continuing to provide programs that equip students with the tools and resources of an education, and continue to provide 15,000 meals a day and 5.4 million meals a year!
How will World Missions Outreach Finance 2019?
Nicaragua’s civil unrest is still on going in some areas, but it is no longer preventing WMOC from bringing in Missions Teams for 2019. With Mission Teams being able to start back World Missions Outreach will be able to recover from this financial crisis and return to being able to cover the missions operational cost through the funding of mission teams. However, if we are not able to reach the remaining 20K needed to get through 2018. We will not be able to re-open our doors in 2019.
Personal Feels
Our entire operation expenses for the year are $200,000. 200K is all it takes a year to provide 5.4 million meals and education to students that would not have access to any otherwise, operate 3 schools, and 70 community outreach programs. My family has sold our personal belongings to cover that $200,000 this year. I'm humbly asking for any assistance to help us meet the last $20,000 we are short of for 2018.
Since WMOC’s co founder, my grandfather, passed away last October I have stepped into his role (with giant shoes to fill). World Missions Outreach is celebrating its 17th year in Nicaragua this December. World Missions Outreach has always been my hearts passion since my first trip at 12 years old. Now at 30, the fate of this organization falls on my shoulders. I have faith and believe that God has his hand in this ministry and that He WILL provide a way. A miracle!
It would change my life by eliminating some of the anxiety of not knowing how I am going to make all of this continue to happen! It would change our students' and communities' lives. It would mean everything to us during this very hard transition period. It would allow us to keep our doors open when we are weeks away from having to close them. It would give us the hand up that we need during this time!
I believe in what God is doing through this ministry. God always makes a way and I have faith that He will continue to make a way. WMOC is proven solid, good ground for His work. Please pray for us (so much power in prayer) and consider helping WMOC continue!
How we operate
We are just as over the Sarah McLachlan, sad, shock factor, depressing images that have been used & abused to guilt you into giving.
This method has desensitized the concept of real poverty & adversities. Are they real? Yes. Do we work in those areas? Of course; but the abuse of charity & the glamorization of poverty to guilt you into giving is not what we are about.
We want you to feel excited to help. We want you to be a part of ending the generational cycle of poverty, not just enabling it. We want you to see the change!
Have you ever watched one of those commercials and then 3 years later - it's the same commercial. No change? Why would you keep giving your money, time and effort into something that seems to produce no results?
At WMO we will never try to sell you a sob story. Yes, there are plenty of cases that would rip your heart out; but we will never exploit those stories in a glamorized way to enhance our platform.
Instead, we want to show you our success. We want to show you that your time, effort & donations are actually creating change for a better today, tomorrow & future.
How We Measure Our Success
We measure our success by the success of our students that have gone through our program! We provide not just a hand out, but a hand up! Our focus is on education & nutrition - physically, mentally & spiritually.
We provide students with a chance to learn & receive an education through core fundamental courses & trade skill classes such as agriculture, woodwork, English, computer tech & more. This ensures no child goes home hungry.
We are giving students a chance at a different future. This isn't just a one time hand out that you will never know its effect. This is a way that we can truly measure the success of combating childhood hunger & end the generational cycle of poverty. This is how you change the future.
We have students who never imagined graduating high school that have went on to college and now have prestigious careers. We have students who are now doctors, lawyers, translators and even teach at our WMO Schools. The school they attended and graduated from!
In Nicaragua, more than 60% of students drop out of school to find odd and end jobs to help provide food for their families before they ever reach high school.
This is the now generation. These are the students who are going to make a difference in their communities.
These are the faces of ambitious young adults who beat all the odds stacked against them! These are the faces of the Future!
