These two sister non-profits provide a hand up, not just a hand out. Our mission is to end the generational cycle of poverty through education and nutrition. Miss NC United States must be a motivated, approachable, brand ambassador with a strong desire to serve her community. As a representative of North Carolina I would spend my reign educating and mentoring young adults on the importance of volunteering, sustainable living, and humility. I would use my communication and marketing background to promote the Miss United States Organization, grow sponsorship, and promote healthy body image.
